This is often much easier spoken than actually achieved. As an ambitious entrepreneur, I am always striving for more and beating up on myself when progress isn’t packaged the way I anticipated or within the timeframe I intended. When I encounter these days, I reflect upon a unique farming technique I learned as a child from my grandfather.
This technique is designed to strategically deepen a plant’s roots and prepare it for potential hardships. In the early stages of growth, you can induce mild stress on the plant by slightly limiting the amount of water intake. This motivates the plant to strive for water sources in other parts of the soil, stretching its roots and improving overall hardiness. Therefore, as we start this stressful week into the holiday, remember a little stress and challenge can actually help us deepen our roots, strengthen us for the next challenge and increase the size of our beautiful bloom.
